I would like to tell you about a little but a joyful incident in my life today. Being a college student, life does not always go easy. Our work is full of assignments, deadlines and exams, which may cause us to be stressed and tired. At times, one seems to have no time to rest.
Nevertheless, even when one is caught up with stress, some little things can make a huge difference.
On a particular day, I was tired of attending a class that had taken long hours and having had a snack with my friends seemed nice. We were all under stress, so we decided that it will be good to have a nice relaxing time and have the company of one another. We purchased various types of food some snacks, beverages, and sweet delicacies. Much food was there, and we were all getting excited because of it, hehehe.
We all sat down, chatted, laughed and distributed our meals. The food was so much better even though it was simple as we were together. It is something very special to share food with your friends. It is not only about eating but it is about bonding, caring and enjoying the moment.
As we laughed and chatted, I lost the memories of being stressed. Just to be happy and relaxed was nice. That little experience made me remember that despite how difficult our life can be, it is possible to enjoy small things.
Friends are truly a blessing. They make us feel good when we are in bad mood and they brighten our days. I am very thankful for them.
Therefore, despite the stress, you may have during your day, make time to have little happy things in your day. Dine out with your friends, laugh, and have fun even in simple manner.
Since at times, the most basic things are the best.
