Hello, dear hivers!! Welcome back to MIYA’s blog!! 💕 Today will be a very very short blog !! It was fiesta in Bogo on May 27, so we decided to go there that day. We arrived around 5 PM.
Before heading to the night market, we stopped at the mall to buy some school supplies. My younger brother is finally starting high school with me, so we needed to get him a pair of uniform slocks. We went to Gaisano first to find the slocks, and luckily we found the right pair. After that, we go over to Metro to look for bags and a few more school items.
While we were at Metro, my mom told us to check for any bags we liked. We each picked a new bag for school, and I also bought some makeup. I only got a blush and a makeup brush, but I was happy because I had been wanting to buy them for a while since I ran out of my blush. We didn’t stay at the mall too long because we still wanted to explore the night market before it got too late.
As soon as we finished shopping, we went straight to the night market. It was already starting to get crowded, so we quickly looked around for food. We didn’t buy much, just what we were craving. My mom and sister really wanted puto bumbong, and luckily they found a stall selling it. The smell was amazing, and they looked really happy with their choice.
As for me, I was craving sushi. I had been wanting sushi again, and when I saw a stall selling it, I knew I had to get some. The sushi looked fresh and tasty. One sushi costs for 20 pesos so I only bought six pieces so a total of 120, but I was already satisfied. I swear, the sushi was sooooo good like very delicious. (We went back to night market the day after but the sushi was already sold out even though it was still kind of early 😭). We thought about buying drinks too, but the line at the drink stall was long. Since it was getting late and we were a bit tired, we decided not to wait and just head home instead.
We didn’t go to the peryahan this time. Most of the rides are the same every year, and honestly, we got tired of them. It’s always the same rides and games, so we didn’t feel excited about trying it again. Plus, we were happy just walking around the night market and enjoying the food we craved.
Even though we didn’t do much, I really enjoyed our short trip to Bogo. It felt nice to be out with my family and appreciate simple things like food, shopping, and strolling around. Sometimes, days like this are the ones I remember the most. I hope we can do it again next time.
That is all for today’s blog my dear readers! Thank you for being with me today. As I continue this journey, I , look forward to sharing more insights, lessons learned, and perhaps a few more simple joys that make the hard work worthwhile. Until next time, keep pursuing your dreams with determination, and don’t forget to appreciate the beauty in the everyday moments. Bye-bye 💞
