Hi bloggers and food lovers, today I'm going to share one of my simple and delicious iftar dishes. It has a chewy texture and a sweet and savory taste, with a sweet brown sugar syrup topping that adds a beautiful touch to this dish. Okay, let's get started.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of rice flour
- Salt
- 3 pandan leaves
- 2 liters of coconut milk
- 300 grams of palm sugar
- 500 ml of water
Steps:
Add a little water to a pot
Bring to a boil
While waiting for it to boil, prepare the coconut milk and rice flour in a container
Add salt
- Stir until well combined (Because the previous container was too small, I transferred it to a larger container)
- Add the rice flour and coconut milk mixture to the boiling water
- Add pandan leaves
Stir continuously until the mixture thickens into a porridge
Turn off the heat and let it cool
- Prepare water and palm sugar in another pot
- Cook until the sugar dissolves
- Serve the porridge in a bowl and pour the palm sugar water mixture over it
- The coconut rice porridge is ready to serve
