Matias' practices have become a special time to share with my husband, because while we wait for Mati to receive his chess lessons we take the opportunity to sit and talk, play scrabble and enjoy some of the desserts offered by the supermarket bakery more for less, and today I come to tell you a little of the last ones we enjoyed.
We are talking about these delicious desserts that in the world of pastries are known by the name of napoleon, which is nothing more than a dessert composed of thin layers of sponge cake and cream, which may contain from fresh fruit, to cookies, nuts and endless ingredients, in this case we chose a peach and a strawberry with the idea of sharing them and try them both.
I have already tried some things from this bakery, such as the coconut quesillo, the sweet cups of sponge cake and whipped cream, napoleons of different flavors and the cheese cake, and the truth is that all of them have seemed delicious, so no doubt this time we decided to enjoy new flavors, and luckily we did not regret it.
Of these desserts I can tell you that I love that although the layers are thin you can enjoy their flavor and have a good amount of cream between each one of them, plus the pieces of fruit give it a special touch, although this time the peach could have been a little more moist, because I tried it a few days ago and it was absolutely delicious, and although the flavor was still very good, moisture in this type of dessert is super important.
On the other hand the strawberry was delicious, maybe because it is one of my favorite fruits, plus I feel that the combination of the citrus of the strawberries with the sweetness of the cream and the delicate vanilla flavor of the cake create a perfect combination, and in the case of the strawberry napoleon it had the perfect touch of humidity, or at least it was just as I like it and the truth is that I enjoyed it very much, plus the syrup they add as a topping was too rich, so without a doubt I recommend the desserts of this branch of Más por Menos located in the C. Las prácticas de Matías se han convertido en un tiempo especial para compartir con mi esposo, ya que mientras esperamos que Mati reciba sus clases de ajedrez nosotros aprovechamos de sentarnos a conversar, jugar scrabble y disfrutar de alguno de los postres que ofrece la pastelería del supermercado más por menos, y hoy les vengo a comentar un poco de los últimos que disfrutamos.
Se trata de estos deliciosos postres que en el mundo de la repostería se conocen con el nombre de napoleón, que no es más que un postre compuesto por finas capas de bizcocho y crema, que pueden contener desde frutas frescas, hasta galletas, frutos secos y un sin fin de ingredientes, en este caso nosotros escogimos uno de melocotón y otro de fresa con la idea de compartirlos y probar ambos.
De esta pastelería ya he probado algunas cositas, como el quesillo de coco, las copas dulces de bizcocho y chantilly, napoleones de diferentes sabores y la cheese cake, y la verdad es que todos me han parecido deliciosos, así que sin duda en esta oportunidad decidimos disfrutar de nuevos sabores, y por suerte no nos arrepentimos.
De estos postres les puedo decir que me encanta que las capas aunque son delgadas puedes disfrutar de su sabor y tienen una buena cantidad de crema entre cada una de ellas, además los trocitos de fruta le aportan un toque especial, aunque esta vez el de melocotón podía haber estado un poco más húmedo, porque lo probé hace unos días y estaba absolutamente delicioso, y aunque igual de sabor estaba muy bien, la humedad en este tipo de postres es súper importante.
Por otro lado el de fresa estaba delicioso, quizá porque es de mis frutas favoritas, además que siento que la combinación de lo cítrico de las fresas junto con lo dulce de la crema y el delicado sabor de vainilla del bizcocho crean una combinación perfecta, y en el caso del napoleón de fresa tenía el toque de humedad perfecto, o por lo menos estaba justo como a mí me gusta y la verdad que lo disfruté muchísimo, además el sirope que agregan como topping estaba demasiado rico, así que sin dudas les recomiendo los postres de esta sucursal de Más por Menos ubicada en el C.C. Ecocenter, sin dudas un placer culposo que vale la pena.
