I saw a mixed veggies in Mama's table and I noticed there's a lot of them. So I asked Mama how much is it and said, it is 20 pesos only. That's surprising, if its this much, then I guess vegetables price is getting lower now which is a good thing. We can't even eat carrot and potato for months because their price surge up and we'd rather eat Malunggay or Sweet Potato leaves from our garden than eat that two. We can only eat this two if their price lowered or if there's a packed of mixed veggies (pancit mixed) available in the market.
And so yesterday, Mama bought two pack of it, thats actually 10 pesos per pack and she get two. Seeing the veggies, I know already that WE already have dish ready for lunch. Haha, WE because i planned to get a bowl of it ƪ(‾.‾“)┐. And I thought she'll simply just sauteed it but then, she also also want put Vermicelli in it and with that, I just ready an empty bowl and watch her cook it. Ahhh, but I help a little guys, I just do the mixing -even it doesn't need to. Because hello, at least I made an effort and I can say, I deserve a bowl of it. Hihi. That's the perks of having two kitchen, ours and Mama's kitchen ♪ \(ω\ )
A whole lotta YOU! There's a lot of it right? But once those veggies soften, they will be just good for 2 meal for one person. But because it has Vermicelli, the servings got bigger and super BETTER!
And so, first thing first, she made fire using charcoal. I saw her fire woods under the house but she used charcoal this time.
And its Sauteeing time!! Mama bought half kilo of fats. She cook it until she a lot oil in it. And the fried fats was used on this recipe. She sauteed it with garlic and onion
After minutes of sauteeing it, she then out the mixed veggies, together with the seasonings like pepper, pinch of salt, some nomnom, and lastly, soy sauce. The salt is really just small here by the way because she puts more nomnom in it. What us that nomnom? It is "that." Just that. Ehe
The vermicelli mama used here is not the usual because its from DALI STORE. I just hope that they handle their product with care and proper hygiene while manufacturing all their products. Coz yk, their products is really cheaper
Anyways, mama added water in it and cook it for few minutes. She checked the veggies before mixing the vermicelli. By the way, she soaked the vermicelli in a water before putting it.
Another minutes passed and mama checked the vermicelli. Its done so she removed it in the charcoal stove.
What do you think? Looks yummy no? And it really is. The vermicelli is kinda chewy but easy to eat. For the veggies, not too soft and still had a nice crunch in it. Overall, its 10/10. I mean, its mama who cook it ehe
And here's my bowl mixed veggies with vermicelli. I asked mama for this guys, I didn't sneak it ƪ(‾.‾“)┐. Lol. And yes, I ate it with rice and I super enjoy it. And with this yummy dish, our lunch is an amazing one.
