Haciendo torta con César por su cumpleaños
Hola Hola
Saludos.

Making cake with César for his birthday
Hello Hello
On March 6, my son's birthday was 8 years old and he is recharged. As mom told me that you have to level up and that he develops in certain areas of the house, now he has more responsibilities than last week. Because? Because I'm raising a good man.
When she had a birthday, we didn't have a party with the children given the economic situation, so we made her a cake at home, but I promised her that we were going to bring a cake to school so she could sing birthdays with her classmates.
Since the car was damaged, we couldn't do it on the same day as his birthday, so I postponed it until we could go to school, so tomorrow is the day to sing his happy birthday with his friends.
Although there is a drop in children from school because there is a lot of flu, and they even ordered them to wear masks again, I am not going to stop bringing them their cake, because as the days go by I lose my desire or emotion.
I promised him that he was going to do it, it's even an incentive for him to start to like cooking, these days, he told me that he was going to make dinner and the advice I gave him was that there was bread in the fridge and cheese, which he could make his own bread or make for both of us. In the end I ended up doing it, but he already knows that he can do those things.
I also have to add that he helped me make cookies when I made them for sale, it was a way of spending time together, as we are doing today with his birthday cake.
I already shared the recipe once here, but I repeat the ingredients so that the publication is productive and does not make you go to my profile to look for it.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of self-rising flour
- 3 cups of sugar
- 2 cups of ripe banana juice
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of margarine
- 1 spoon of vanilla
- 100g of chocolate
The preparation is, first the margarine, beat until creamy, add the sugar, beat until both ingredients are integrated, then the eggs and vanilla. Then little by little the flour and the banana juice.
You look for a 27cm container, wash it, spread margarine on it and then sprinkle flour so it doesn't stick. You add the mixture, chop the chocolate into pieces and add it to it.
César did all this with my help, I was adding the ingredients and he was mixing. I wanted to do everything himself but the truth is that it was going to take longer and get more dirty, in that part I am careful because then I have to clean up, although we still get dirty.
Right now the cake is in the oven, I set a 45min wait to see if it's already cooked, I set the oven to what I thought was a low temperature, since it can't be high because it would cook very quickly to the point of burn.
César is excited because he made his own cake and I am excited because my son is going to be a good man and not a man who doesn't even know how to wash a dish.
Do you cook with your children? I know that there are children who do more than me in the kitchen when they are little, but hey… Everything in our own time.
I read them. Greetings.
