Hello, hello! How are you? I hope you're enjoying this beautiful evening. Although it's a bit warm here, the beauty of the night always manages to create a special atmosphere. I send you a big hello from my corner, where I'm excited to share with you a delicious and healthy recipe: oatmeal cookies! The recipe I'm bringing you is very simple and requires few ingredients, which is perfect for those who, like me, sometimes don't have much material at home. I don't usually eat very healthy, but I've decided to make an effort and try something new with these oatmeal cookies. I love the idea of being able to enjoy a delicious snack that's also nutritious.
When I made my first attempt at making oatmeal cookies, I must admit I didn't follow an original recipe. I only had oats, honey, and an egg. I've always been a creative person in the kitchen, so, unafraid of failure, I decided to take the plunge and make something new. When I tried the result, I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was completely different from anything I'd tried before; it was reminiscent of whole-wheat bars. It wasn't overly sweet, but it wasn't lacking in flavor either, and the oats became crunchy, which gave it an interesting texture. That experience left me wanting to experiment more. Now, looking back on what I did that time, I'm excited to try making these oatmeal cookies again, but this time with more ingredients. I've learned a few things over time that I think will improve the recipe.

Paso nro 1
First, I'll place the butter and sugar in a small electric pot to melt both. I'll also add the cinnamon along with the oats, and wait for the sugar and butter to melt. This time, I used cupcake liners to make it more attractive and easier to serve.

Next, I'll add the sugar and melted butter to the oatmeal with the cinnamon and a little vanilla. I'll stir for a while until the oatmeal is well blended with the other ingredients. With this combination, I hope the texture and flavor will be even more delicious.

Now that I had everything ready, I preheated the oven, which is electric, and began placing the mixture in the baking cups.

I hope you like this recipe. Honestly, I didn't make that many because my mom and I are the ones who like those things here. So I encourage you to try different ingredients. Of course, if you're like me, who basically uses ingredients I've already tried in other cookie recipes. What I did was replace the flour with oatmeal and also didn't use eggs. Before I forget, these cookies didn't turn out as crispy as last time; I guess it's because of the butter. They were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, but I still liked them. My mom recommended using carrots and bananas next time. So I hope you like them, and I'll leave you with this recipe. Enjoy! 🍪✨
