I love this time of year even if we didn't have a hot summer. The days are now getting shorter and cooler with a bit of rain to green things up again. You can come indoors early and sit on the couch, watch some TV and play guitar and not feel as though you should be out doing something "more productive".
I've got a new guitar from my guy at work for a week or so just in time for #straturday. It's very similar to my strat, same vintage and has a sunburst paint job. It has a maple neck which I really like along with lace sensor pickups in the middle and neck with the bridge holding some kind of Semour Duncan thingy for the bridge. The nut on this is also different to mine with a funny looking metal contraption I think to stop the strings bunching up if you use the whammy bar a lot.
It was recorded using Reaper and effects using Bias-Fx with the following setup. It's a preset from Positive Grid - Tone Cloud called 'SRV Double Trouble'. I've made a couple of teaks, but can't remember what they were. The patch was pretty good as it was.
Dodgy backing track was from https://remixpacks.ru/ which sounds like the original. I don't know where they get these from and too scared to ask.
Stay safe people and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
