I have had this guitar for almost 6 years now and I can't get enough of it!
It was handmade by a local custom shop and the reason I'm very proud of it is because I was ahead of every part of the proccess, except the construction itself.
It's actually the second guitar I ordered from this shop, but with this one I was much more involved in every detail, from wood selection to electronics.
It has a cedar body with a maple top, a maple neck and maple fingerboard. For pickups, I selected a Seymour Duncan Little 59 on the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Vintage Steck on the neck.
This guitar sounds a bit more aggressive than a classic Tele but I also had a push-pull potentiometer installed to split the pickup coils so it still has that "Tele twang" if wanted.
I don't have a proper recording setup but I'll try to get a decent recording with my cell phone and post it soon.
Let me know what you think about the guitar and feel free to ask questions if you have any!
