Pensé que esta actividad cultural sería mayor, ya que solo se podía apreciar unas ocho carpas dispersadas por el lugar, donde vendían variedades de libros. Aunque a pesar de ello, el ambiente era único.

Acá no estamos acostumbrados a encontrar librerías, desconozco si existe alguna en la ciudad. Por lo que mi hija estaba aprovechando la ocasión, recorriendo los puestos y escogiendo sus favoritos. No debe de ser muy difícil de imaginar cuales serían los libros favoritos para una niña de 6 años. Eligió los libros de cuentos y de colorear, y también hizo que le comprara una "Cuquita", al menos es como se conoce acá a las muñecas de papel.
Here we are not used to finding bookstores, I do not know if there is any in the city. So my daughter was taking advantage of the opportunity, going through the stalls and choosing her favorites. It should not be very difficult to imagine what the favorite books would be for a 6-year-old girl. Solo pudimos quedarnos un poco más de una hora, pero fue suficiente para disfrutar del ambiente, ya que son pocas las oportunidades que tenemos los que vivimos en el campo, de aprovechar oportunidades como esta. Nos quedamos con ganas de más, pero bueno, a veces las responsabilidades llaman y no quedaba de otra.
Como mencioné en anteriormente esto sucedió hace unas semanas. Pero hace unos días vi un artículo en las redes sociales del principal medio de presa digital del estado cubano, hablando sobre el evento. Decían que había tenido más de 34,500 ejemplares. La realidad es que estaban un poco lejos de la verdad. Siendo bastante optimista, no creo que haya llegado a 2000 ejemplares.
Pero bueno, al final lo importante es que pasamos un día increíble en familia, rodeados de libros y de un ambiente excelente. Una grandiosa experiencia que es muy productiva para nuestra niña y para nosotros como familia.
