Tras estar varios días fuera del acontecer cultural y literario de mi bella ciudad hoy me reincorpore a estas actividades que suelo compartir con ustedes y fue de la mejor manera.

After being away from the cultural and literary events of my beautiful city for several days, today I rejoined these activities that I usually share with you, and it was in the best way.
Como es costumbre cada último sábado del mes,la peña literaria "Voces del alma" abrió sus puertas en la librería Teresa Melo, para todos los amantes de las letras, un evento que se llevó a cabo en honor a la memoria de la querida poeta y escritora de la cual lleva nombre la librería.
El invitado especial fue el poeta e investigador León Estrada, quien no solo fue amigo de Teresa, sino también un gran conocedor de su obra.
As is customary every last Saturday of the month, the literary gathering "Voces del alma" opened its doors at the Teresa Melo bookstore for all lovers of literature. This event was held in honor of the beloved poet and writer after whom the bookstore is named. The special guest was poet and researcher León Estrada, who was not only a friend of Teresa but also a great connoisseur of her work.
León Estrada nos regaló una cálida y emotiva charla en la que nos habló de Teresa como persona, destacando su sencillez, su bondad y su gran pasión por la literatura. También nos hizo un recorrido por su trayectoria poética, analizando algunos de sus poemas más significativos y resaltando su profunda sensibilidad y su capacidad para capturar la esencia de la vida en sus versos.
León Estrada gave us a warm and emotional talk in which he spoke about Teresa as a person, highlighting her simplicity, kindness, and great passion for literature. He also took us through her poetic journey, analyzing some of her most significant poems and emphasizing her profound sensitivity and ability to capture the essence of life in her verses.
La velada también estuvo amenizada por la música de Silvio Rodríguez, interpretada a capella como regalo para Leon quien se encontraba de cumpleaños.
Al finalizar la peña, los organizadores nos invitaron a la siguiente edición, donde nos prometen muchas sorpresas.
The evening was also enlivened by the music of Silvio Rodríguez, performed a cappella as a gift for Leon, who was celebrating his birthday. At the end of the gathering, the organizers invited us to the next edition, promising many surprises.
Quiero agradecer a todos los que hacen posible estas hermosas iniciativas culturales que enriquecen nuestras vidas y nos acercan al mundo de la literatura.
