Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algo muy personal: mi proceso de aprendizaje en el mundo de la barbería.
Quiero ser muy sincero con todos: Soy principiante. No llevo años en esto, ni pretendo saberlo todo. Apenas estoy comenzando este viaje, pero lo que me falta de experiencia, trato de compensarlo con disciplina, pasión y muchas ganas de mejorar cada día.
Para mí, cada cliente que se sienta en mi silla es una oportunidad de estudio y un voto de confianza que valoro muchísimo.
🛠️ Mis Herramientas
Aquí les muestro mi mesa de trabajo. Cuento con mis máquinas Kemei, tijeras y lo básico para trabajar. Sé que no es el equipo más lujoso, pero cuido mis herramientas como si fueran oro, manteniéndolas siempre limpias y listas. Creo que el barbero hace a la máquina, y no al revés.
🔄 El Reto: Antes y Después
Hoy realicé un corte donde busqué limpiar la imagen del cliente y darle un estilo más fresco.

El Proceso:
Mi enfoque fue ir paso a paso, sin apuro.
Primero bajé el volumen excesivo para tener una base limpia.
Luego fui trabajando los niveles del degradado (Fade), tratando de ser cuidadoso con la palanca para no crear líneas difíciles de borrar.
Finalmente, trabajé la parte superior con tijera para darle forma y texturizar.
Me tomé mi tiempo, revisando constantemente, porque sé que en los detalles está la diferencia.

🗣️ Espacio para el Crecimiento
Como dije al principio, estoy aquí para aprender. Sé que este corte no es perfecto y que tengo mucho margen de mejora.

Today I want to share something very personal with you: my learning process in the world of barbering.
I want to be very honest with everyone: I am a beginner. I haven't been doing this for years, nor do I pretend to know everything. I am just beginning this journey, but what I lack in experience, I try to make up for with discipline, passion, and a strong desire to improve every day.
For me, every client who sits in my chair is an opportunity to learn and a vote of confidence that I greatly appreciate.
🛠️ My Tools
Here's my work table. I have my Kemei clippers, scissors, and the basics I need to work. I know it's not the most luxurious equipment, but I take care of my tools as if they were gold, always keeping them clean and ready to go. I believe that the barber makes the clippers, not the other way around.
🔄 The Challenge: Before and After
Today I did a haircut where I sought to clean up the client's image and give him a fresher style.

The Process:
My approach was to go step by step, without rushing.
First, I reduced the excessive volume to create a clean base.
Then I worked on the fade levels, trying to be careful with the lever so as not to create lines that would be difficult to erase.
Finally, I worked on the top with scissors to shape and texturize it.
I took my time, constantly checking, because I know that the details make all the difference.

🗣️ Room for Growth
As I said at the beginning, I am here to learn. I know this cut is not perfect and that I have a lot of room for improvement.
