En lo personal considero que normalmente, solemos concentrarnos tanto en los quehaceres y los problemas que tenemos, que tenemos que resolver, que acabamos olvidando lo que es realmente importante para lograr nuestra felicidad, que es la familia.

Personally, I think that normally, we tend to concentrate so much on the chores and problems we have to solve, that we end up forgetting what is really important to achieve our happiness, which is the family.
En estos días decidí olvidarme de todas las tareas que tengo que hacer y dedicarlos únicamente a las personas que más quiero y pasar estos días de invierno junto a ellos.
Visité a mi padre, mi hermana y mis sobrinos. Mi familia es más bien pequeña y como sus casas están una al lado de la otra se nos facilita un poco reunirnos.
These days I decided to forget about all the tasks I have to do and dedicate them only to the people I love the most and spend these winter days with them.
I visited my father, my sister and my nephews and nieces. My family is rather small and since their houses are next to each other, it makes it a little easier for us to get together.
Nada más llegar a la casa, me detuve a observar por un tiempo el jardín de la terraza, me trajo muchos recuerdos, puesto que hace unos años estaba muy cuidado, no había hojas marchitas ni plantas tan grandes que estorbaran el paso a su alrededor, y había muchos colores. A mi hija le gustaban mucho las flores y cada vez que veía una que le gustara buscaba la forma de conseguir una pequeña postura y trasplantarla a ese jardín.
Desde que falleció mi madre hace unos años, se ha descuidado un poco el lugar, puesto que ella era quien lo cuidaba siempre, y aunque de vez en cuando se atienda, nunca será igual.
As soon as I arrived at the house, I stopped to look at the garden on the terrace for a while, it brought back many memories, since a few years ago it was very well kept, there were no withered leaves or plants so big that they got in the way around it, and there was a lot of color. My daughter was very fond of flowers and every time she saw one she liked she looked for a way to get a small posture and transplant it to that garden.
Since my mother passed away a few years ago, the place has been somewhat neglected, as she was the one who always took care of it, and although it is occasionally tended to, it will never be the same.
Los días allí transcurrier muy rápido entre conversaciones, risas, recuerdos y bromas. También disfruté de cargar al nuevo integrante de la familia, Milán.
Sin dudas fue una excelente idea visitar la casa donde viví tantos años de mi vida y pasar tiempo con mi familia. Todos se alegraron mucho de vernos y de que por fin nos pudiéramos reunir nuevamente.
The days there went by very quickly amidst conversations, laughter, memories and jokes. I also enjoyed holding the new member of the family, Milán.
It was certainly an excellent idea to visit the house where I lived for so many years of my life and spend time with my family. Everyone was very happy to see each other and that we could finally get together again.
