Longest ride, and the furthest I've gotten down the old railway line. Made it to the nearby town, which has been my goal for a little while now.

Had my pedal fall off halfway through the journey back but saved by the multi-tool, can't say it was much fun as it was getting dark though - and the clanging metal noise did not inspire confidence! Living on a cobbled street really gives all the fixings on the bike a run for their money.

When nearing the town there were some really nice views, definitely the most picturesque part of this route and really glad I did make it all the way to the end. The previous time I tried to do this, I was thwarted by a large puddle that I thought I could cycle through - but my shoes ended up taking a dunk when I came off the tracks! Glad to say that was all cleared out this time.
