Some years ago, When I traveled to visit my uncle in my mother's state. I went alone because I was eager to reconnect with my mother's family, just like in the old days when I used to enjoy being there.
Upon my arriving there, I enjoy a wonderful time during the week. Later, My uncle Informed me that we are going to farm together, which made me very happy because I still cherished those memories of eating and playing there. My uncle and I travel to the family farm, he was in charge of the farm because he the only male child In the home town.
When i was Preparing and packing the raw food my uncle bought. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep overnight. Although I still believe that is an enjoyment place for me
But this time it was different and so funny. I found myself traveling on a bike from one local government area to another.
We start the journey around five o'clock am. It took about two hours to reach our destination. On the way, we are stopped by the police officers for routine check.
After we reached the farm known as TUTU CAMP, I was amazed to see so many people of ages. My uncle park is bike and announces his arrival to other people waiting for him to sell their goods. I noticed the mud house and asked if we are going to stay there. He confirmed that we would.
He reminded me that I had stayed here before and handed me the key to open the door. Inside, I found a variety food like rice, beans, spaghetti, and dry fish. However, I soon realized that I was scratching my hands and saw blood. I hurriedly informed my uncle to take a look at my hands.
He said oooooo sorry, you should have brought socks, long sleeves and trouser to protect yourself from a pest named KURUBETE.I recalled the last time I was here and how this pest had bitten me. I quickly enter the room to find my clothes, but they were nowhere to be seen.
I told my uncle, who feel sorry to informed me that he had disposed the clothes. He handed me a bottle
of diesel oil, explaining I could keep the pest away due to its strong odor. With the diesel oil applied, we headed to the farm.
On the second day, I didn't wake early to applied the oil to my body and i noticed that my hands had swollen up. So quickly pick the diesel bottle and rub my body with it.Despite the discomfort and inconvenience, I work hard, and If someone had told me I could work that way, I would have thought they were lying.
However, on the third day, as I stoop up to apply the oil, I accidentally knocked over the diesel bottle, spilling its content, I lamented my misfortune, realizing I had lost my last option for protection.
I endured the swelling until we returned home on Saturday evening, where I received medication to alleviate the discomfort.
