Un paseo por La Terminal | Rally-500

A través de este post quiero hablarles desde mi experiencia y recorrido en Stemit e Hive, llenos de múltiples comunidades, de todo tipo y con intereses particulares; pero solo unas pocas de ellas he conocido que se dedican enseñar y educar a sus miembros, lo cual las hace especiales.

The Terminal es una comunidad bilingüe, que presta para apoyar a todos sus miembros, no solo a través de votos y curaciones, sino a través de la educación y formación; y es que desde el primer momento que ingresas comienzas a aprender, de una manera organizada y metódica; desde la presentación misma, pasando por la elaboración de post, su promoción, y hasta la valoración de los post de otros a través de votos y comentarios. Es realmente una escuela donde entramos para aprender.

Para ello cuenta con un Servidor en Discord muy bien organizado con diferentes secciones y salas, cada una con un fin y utilidad específica que es necesario conocer, si queremos extraer el mejor aprendizaje posible. Echemos un vistazo rápido a las diferentes secciones y luego profundizaremos un poco en algunas salas en particular.

Through this post I want to talk to you from my experience and journey in Stemit and Hive, full of multiple communities, of all kinds and with particular interests; but only a few of them I have known that are dedicated to teach and educate their members, which makes them special.

The Terminal is a bilingual community, which lends its support to all its members, not only through vows and healings, but through education and training; because from the first moment you enter you begin to learn, in an organized and methodical way; from the presentation itself, through the elaboration of post, its promotion, and even the evaluation of others' posts through votes and comments. It is really a school where we enter to learn.

For it it counts on a very well organized Discord Server with different sections and rooms, each one with a specific purpose and utility that is necessary to know, if we want to extract the best possible learning. Let's take a quick look at the different sections and then we will go into some depth in some particular rooms.

Conozcamos sus Salas.

1. COMIENZA AQUÍ: Es una sección introductoria, donde conocerás las reglas generales y donde podrás hacer tu presentación.
2. LAS COMUNIDADES: Aquí hallarás salas informativas, de anuncios, cumpleaños, salas de chat, competencias o Rallys, entre otras.
3. VOZ Y MÚSICA: Sala de conferencia y música.
4. CARRERA DE LOS PECES ROJOS: Información sobre Rally y sala de espera cuando se desea participar.
5. CONCURSOS: Salas de diferentes concursos
6. PROMOCIÓN DE POST: De acuerdo a la categoría donde se encuentre, hay una sala para promocionar los post.
7. APRENDER IDIOMAS: Siendo una comunidad bilingüe, no podía faltar una sala para aprender idiomas.
8. DIVERSIÓN Y JUEGOS: No todo es estudios y trabajo, para eso están varias salas de juegos.
9. BIBLIOTECA DE INFORMACIÓN: Toda una biblioteca con ayuda en diversas áreas que te servirán para mejorar tus publicaciones y tu interacción.
10. LA OFICINA: Allí encontrarás herramientas y diseños libres que podrás utilizar.
11. LISTAS: Listas de aplicaciones y etiquetas que te serán útiles.

Let's get to know your Rooms.

1. BEGINS HERE: It is an introductory section, where you will know the general rules and where you can make your presentation.
2. THE COMMONS: Here you will find information rooms, advertisements, birthday rooms, chat rooms, competitions or Rallys, among others.
3. VOICE & MUSIC: Conference room and music.
4. REDFISH RALLY: Information about Rally and waiting room when you want to participate.
5. CONTESTS: Rooms of different competitions
6. POST PROMOTION: According to the category where you are, there is a room to promote the posts.
7. LEARN LANGUAGES: Being a bilingual community, a language learning room was a must.
8. FUN & GAMES: It's not all work and play, That's what several game rooms are for.
9. INFORMATION LIBRARY: A whole library with help in various areas that will help you improve your publications and your interaction.
10. THE OFFICE: There you will find free tools and designs that you can use.
11. LISTS: Lists of applications and labels that will be useful to you.

Tres salas resultaron sumamente interesantes para mí:

PRIMERA SALA

Dentro de la sección LAS COMUNIDADES se encuentra la Sala ANUNCIOS: esta es una de las salas más importantes, porque nos permite estar al tanto de todo lo que ocurre en The Teminal, así como también sobre cosas que están pasando en Hive. Allí se publica todo tipo de anuncios de interés para el aprendizaje y desarrollo de los miembros. Manténganse atentos a esta sala.

Three rooms were extremely interesting for me:

FIRST ROOM

Within the section THE COMMUNITIES, there is the room ANNOUNCEMENTS: this is one of the most important rooms, because it allows us to be aware of everything that happens in The Teminal, as well as things that are happening in Hive. All kinds of announcements of interest for the learning and development of the members are published there. Keep an eye on this room.

SEGUNDA SALA

Las salas de la sección CARRERA DE LOS PECES ROJOS, son excelentes porque en ellas interactúan, estudian y aprenden los participantes de los RALLY-100 y RALLY-500, los cuales son iniciativas para ayudar a los nuevos miembros (y algunos no tan nuevos) a crecer y aumentar su poder de voto, planteándose como meta llevar a los primeros a 100 HP y a los del Rally-500 a 500 HP. Entra en los Rallys y aprende bajo la tutoría de experimentadas moderadoras.

SECOND ROOM

The rooms of the REDFISH RALLY section are excellent because they are where the participants of the RALLY-100 and RALLY-500 interact, study and learn. These are initiatives to help new members (and some not so new) grow and increase their voting power, with the goal of bringing the former to 100 HP and the Rally-500 to 500 HP. Enter the Rallies and learn under the guidance of experienced moderators.

TERCERA SALA

Una sala poco activa, pero no menos importante, es la Sala LECCIONES DE IDIOMAS. Considerando que una de las virtudes de esta comunidad es su carácter bilingüe, esta sala nos permite estudiar otros idiomas importantes para la comunicación y desenvolvimiento en grupos de apoyo de habla no hispana. Salgamos de la comodidad de nuestro lenguaje y aprendamos con personas que hablan otro idioma.

THIRD ROOM

An inactive room, but not less important, is the LANGUAGE LESSONS room. Considering that one of the virtues of this community is its bilingual character, this room allows us to study other important languages for communication and development in non-Spanish speaking support groups. Let's get out of the comfort of our language and learn with people who speak another language.

Como pueden observar, no hay desperdicio en ninguna de las Salas del Discord de The Terminal; sin embargo, tomando en cuenta lo amplio y extenso de sus secciones y salas, en su mayoría en inglés, se hace necesario un tutorial o guía de navegación, que nos enseñe a utilizar cada sala, y así extraer el mayor aprendizaje posible.

As you can see, there is no waste in any of the Discord Rooms of The Terminal; however, taking into account the wide and extensive sections and rooms, mostly in English, it is necessary a tutorial or navigation guide, which teaches us how to use each room, and thus extract the most learning possible.
