Hello Hive familly,
Here we go for the final part of this period 2 challenge of the Redfish Rally. We all use applications that's why in this part of the challenge, I will present you my selection of three applications I use for the moment.
GIMP
GIMP, GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a free and open source program, like Linux and many other free programs. It's the result of community work.
Concretely it is a free image editing software offering tools for modifications and retouching. In this app, you can create and make some original GIF, footers, logos...
I made my first steps with GIMP a year ago but I hadn't followed a tutorial, so I gave up. Having wanted to improve my images and publications, I found myself working and doing my first jobs. That said, I will still use it for all my extensive editing to retouch creative and original photos.
It is an application that is a good replacement for Photoshop. It's very complete.
As you can see, it's the application that I used to make my footer.
Telegram
I think most of you are familiar with this application. It's like whatsapp but free. An open source and secure application that allows us to communicate via message. We can send photos, videos and so on.
In particular, it has been banned in Russia because they have refused to allow the state to disclose users communications.
Telegram has been developing a new blockchain platform called the TON Blockchain and native cryptocurrency called Grams. Telegram source
What I find positive is that we can exchange documents, photos, messages and empties all this without any volume limit. I use it as a messenger with some of my contacts.
The application can be used on a computer or a phone. I personally use with my Wiko mobile phone.
What is relevant is that with Telegram desktop, there is no need to have the phone on, whereas with Whatsapp all calls go through the data package (DATA).
Picsart
As the name suggests, it's an image and videos editing application. A month ago, I just started to use it. It's a bit weird because I don't use it much but I use it for my photos and videos.
You will find millions of images at your disposal, collages, add stickers and delete items from your images. You can also have fun removing and modifying the background of your photos.
Moreover, you will find a lot of effects to be creative as I tried for the Photo philters & effects contest.
It is with this application that I participated in the Vogue Challenge on Instagram. You can see the before and after modifications of my picture.
The application is available on Android, IOS and computer. Personally, I've only used the mobile version so far.
Finally, for Hive I use more Peakd than Hive.blog because since the beginning, I took the habitude. I never used Hive.io.
Which app are you using or do you want to learn from?
Thank you for your attention, I wish you all a wonderful end of sunday with love and hugs 😘
Pictures have been taken by myself with my Wiko lenny and some printscreen.
