WINNER: A CONTEST about a contest! 🎉

Last week, I published A CONTEST about a contest, where I offered to fund the prizes for a Redfish or Minnow who wishes to hold their own contest on the blockchain, and we have a winner! Congratulations to Hive account@mau189gg who wrote a fabulous entry to the contest! Sadly, though, his entry was the only one to my contest. I was quite surprised, as I thought my idea for a "contest about a contest" was a clever concept that would have garnered many entries. Still, Hive account@mau189gg's entry would have been difficult to beat!

His entry, Concurso sobre el mes de Marzo ("Contest about the month of March"), was so well-written that I thought he was running his own contest rather than entering mine! Bravo! 😂 The theme he chose is: "the month of women, joy, and water." One of the rules of his contest is:

It is strictly forbidden not to enjoy the initiative and not to show your best in this activity.

Hive account@mau189gg definitely qualified with his Reputation Score, HivePower, and liquid HIVE requirements. He fulfilled all the directions and he placed a link to his entry in a comment on my contest post, as requested. The only thing that was not correct about his entry was that his prizes totaled more than the 35 HIVE I was offering. However, I will allow his 45 HIVE + a 5 HIVE Special Prize because I was so impressed with his contest! So, be sure to thank him for increasing the prize money! 😉

So, I will now transfer his initial prize of 5 HIVE to his wallet. Upon completion of his contest and announcement of the winners, he will get an additional 20 HIVE, and I will send the 50 HIVE in prizes to the winners of his contest! 🙌
