Yesterday I found a beautiful moth. Hippotion rosetta, I think that's the species. About the size of a little finger, pale brown, pink wings base, fat abdomen, big protruding eyes.
It has a common name as Swinhoe's striated hawkmoth. The scientific name Hippotion rosetta was first described by Charles Swinhoe in 1892. This species is a sphingid moth belonging to the family Sphingidae. Its distribution includes South Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia, but is also found in some Pacific islands such as Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.
