Hi all my friends. this morning I want to show you four leaf-eating insects
🔸Oteng-oteng or Kuya Lice "Aulocophora similis Oliver"
these are insects that are small in size. and has two shiny colors, namely the color of orenje on the head, legs, and lower abdomen. and black on both wing covers.
This little insect makes a hole in the vegetable flower that will become a fruit. by chewing.
And the two insects above and the one below are insects whose body shape is almost similar to cockroaches but have a different color. we call it cockroach leaves, because yes it likes to eat leaves. And another one below is a grasshopper, it is also often known as a leaf-eating insect.
And another named Ulat. This is also one of the insects that is very disturbing in plants or in vegetables, such as spinach, long beans, green beans, tomatoes, etc.
The four insects above are now very well known as insect pests or referred to as pests. these four types use their mouths by chewing leaves, shoots, and vegetable flowers that will become fruit. and these insects leave marks on leaves and flowers like holes that can make vegetables wilt and even become extinct.
