Hey, dear insect and macro lovers,

on a photo tour through the forest last year I was able to take some photos of these beautiful butterflies. In 2008 they even became butterfly of the year.
The male should be the bluer and the female the more brownish one. But with my limited knowledge about butterflies I cannot say if I'm really right. Maybe someone of you knows more about it.

auf einer Fototour durch den Wald im letzten Jahr konnte ich ein paar Fotos von diesen wunderhübschen Schmetterlingen machen. 2008 wurde er sogar Schmetterling des Jahres.
Das Männchen müsste der bläulichere und das Weibchen der mehr bräunliche Falter sein. Ob das aber wirklich stimmt kann ich mit meinem beschränkten Wissen leider nicht sagen. Vielleicht weiß es aber jemand von euch genauer.
