I went for a walk early this morning. There was dew on the meadows and I took a few shots along the way.
This is the Chrysolina herbacea, a leaf beetle species that often feed on mint. The shiny armor of these insects looks great when covered with droplets - a real jewel.
I encountered also quite a few lady beetles.
This is the very common Coccinella septempunctata lady beetle.
A spider was hanging nearby ... he was also covered with some decorative droplets.
In the case of this spider, I don't know the exact species.
Since the conditions were nice and humid, I encountered some snails too before returning home.
As always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work.
