Saludos hivers amantes de los insectos. Hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes algunas fotos que le hice a una mariposa que llegó al balcón de mi casa, vivo en el cuarto piso así que constantemente me visitan insectos de todo tipo, y de vez en cuando de algunas aves también

Hello insect lovers. Today I want to share with all of you some photos that I took of a butterfly that arrived on the balcony of my house, I live on the fourth floor so I am constantly visited by insects of all kinds, and from time to time some birds too.

Es la primera vez que le hago fotos a esta especie de mariposa, es un ejemplar muy hermoso y afortunadamente para mi, fue muy dócil así que pude hacerle bastantes fotos jejeje. Ella estaba sobre el rodapié del piso del balcón, fui acercando mi dedo a ella poco a poco para que se montara, pensé que se asustaría y saldría volando pero no, se posó sobre mi dedo así que la levanté lentamente y ahí empezó esta sesión de fotos 📸🦋.

It's the first time I have taken photos of this species of butterfly, it's a very beautiful specimen and fortunately for me, she was very docile so I was able to take quite a few photos of her hehehe. She was on the skirting board of the balcony floor, I brought my finger closer to her little by little so that she could get on it, I thought she would get scared and fly away but no, she landed on my finger so I picked her up slowly and that's when this session of photos started 📸🦋.

Esta mariposa es una Junonia evarete, aquí en Venezuela se le conoce como "Mariposa Ojo de venado". Es una de las 35 especies de "Ojo de venado" que hay en todo el mundo, todas ellas pertenecen al género de las Junonia, y se caracterizan por tener grandes manchas en forma de ojos y por ser migratorias.

This butterfly is a Junonia evarete, here in Venezuela it is known as the "Deer Eye Butterfly". It's one of the 35 species of "Deer Eye" that exist throughout the world, all of them belong to the Junonia genus, and are characterized by having large eye-shaped spots and being migratory.

La Junonia evarete es una mariposa neotropical que habita desde Florida (Estados Unidos), México, Centro América hasta la parte tropical y subtropical de Sudamérica.

The Junonia evarete is a neotropical butterfly that lives from Florida (United States), Mexico, Central America to the tropical and subtropical part of South America.

Su cuerpo está cubierto de minúsculos pelos que le dan una textura aterciopelada / Her body is covered in tiny hairs that give her a velvety texture

Las mariposas pertenecientes al género de las Junonia son muy parecidas entre sí, tanto en el patrón de sus manchas como en los colores, y por eso es fácil confundirlas, sin embargo, presentan ciertas diferencias en los colores de fondo dependiendo del continente donde habiten, ya que están distribuidas en todo el mundo a excepción de la Antártida.

The butterflies belonging to the Junonia genus are very similar to each other, both in the pattern of their spots and in the colors, and that is why it's easy to confuse them, however, they have certain differences in background colors depending on the continent where they live, since they are distributed throughout the world except for Antarctica.

Los ojos de las mariposas son dignos de cualquier superhéroe, son compuestos ya que están formados por cientos de pequeños ojos llamados omatidios, cada omatidio recibe una imagen diferente dependiendo de su perspectiva, la mariposa arma cada una de estas imágenes y las procesa en una sola. Esta mariposa fue una modelo maravillosa, estuvo tranquila y disfrutando de la sesión de fotos jejeje, y cada vez que le ofrecía ni dedo se montaba con mucha gracia así que nuevamente estoy muy agradecida con el mundo de los insectos por enviarme a verdaderos profesionales que posan para mi para que ustedes puedan conocer un poquito más sobre ellos 😁.
