The bee is one of the few insects I like. Perhaps because of its much less aggressive form than the wasp and also the fact that it provides us with excellent honey, I always liked to photograph these insects in their ceaseless work of collecting pollen.
One of the biggest challenges in macro photography of winged insects is trying to get a net take of a bee in flight. I had already done many tests, often inconclusive, with bumblebees, but the bee is even faster and more agile than this one. Despite everything, I managed to have an acceptable landing result.
