Esa fue la primera impresión que me dio esta "Polilla Blanca" al verla. Una mariposa vestida de novia por su espectacular color blanco Tornasol. Sin embargo luego de averiguar de qué tipo de insecto se trataba, descubrí su nombre y algunas de sus características!
That was the first impression I got from this "White Moth" when I saw it. A butterfly dressed as a bride because of its spectacular white Tornasol color. However after finding out what kind of insect it was, I discovered its name and some of its characteristics!
Se dice que este tipo de polilla blanca conocida científicamente como Chopo Leucoma Salicis Linnaeus está en la línea de insectos que presentan 4 alas membranosas que a su vez al estar cubierta por una serie de laminillas imbricadas, alteran o transforman la reflexión de la luz, esto permite que sus Colores sean tan llamativos, tornasolados e iridiscentes.
It is said that this type of white moth known scientifically as Poplar Leucoma Salicis Linnaeus is in the line of insects that have 4 membranous wings which in turn being covered by a series of imbricate lamellae, alter or transform the reflection of light, this allows its colors to be so striking, iridescent and iridescent.
Se pueden colonizar con rapidez y
