Hello hive friends, greetings and blessings to all.
Today I want to tell you what is not important for much, but that we must take precautions in this regard. It is a small garden that we made in our house, and we planted some vegetables and legumes.
Once grown, observe many kinds of insects. I began to observe and investigate some of them, which I was surprised to discover that our garden is a mini jungle, because there were even tigers in it.

Hoy les quiero hablar lo que para mucho no es importante,pero que debemos tomar precauciones al respecto. Se trata de un pequeño huerto que hicimos en nuestra casa,y sembramos algunas hortalizas,y legumbres.
Una vez ya grandes observe muchas clases de insectos. Me puse a observar e investigar algunos de ellos,lo cual me sorprendí al descubrir q nuestro huerto es una mini selva,porque en el habia hasta tigres.

Not exactly the Bengal tiger, it is the Aedes Albopictus. It is also known by the name of the tiger mosquito, it is named for its black coloration with white ornamentation on the thorax and abdomen, with white and black legs with a white line between thorax and head.
They feed on blood, using their long, thin proboscis to extract blood from vertebrates. They are the females that fulfill this function, the males feed on nectar. The tiger mosquito is the cause of transmitting several diseases, the best known are: malaria, dengue, nile virus, chikunguya, yellow fever, and Zika. These diseases are strange and difficult to treat, to calm the bite of the tiger mosquito it is recommended to clean with alcohol to remove the remains of saliva from the animal.

No precisamente el tigre bengala, se trata del Aedes Albopictus. También se le conoce con el nombre de mosquito tigre, se llama asi por su coloración negra con ornamentación blanca en el tórax y abdomen, con las patas blancas y negras con una línea blanca entre tórax y cabeza.
Se alimentan de sangre,utilizando su trompa fina y alargada para extraer la sangre de los vertebrados. Son las hembras que cumplen con esta función, los machos se alimentan de néctar. El mosquito tigre es el causante de transmitir varias enfermedades las mas conocidas son: la malaria, dengue, virus del nilo, chikunguya, fiebre amarilla,y zika. Estas enfermedades son extrañas y de difícil tratamiento, para calmar la picadura del mosquito tigre se recomienda limpiar con alcohol para eliminar los restos de saliva del animal.

Para aliviar el dolor de la picadura se recomienda la aplicación de medicamentos con amoníaco, antihistamínicos. Cómo remedios alternativos se pueden aplicar polvos de talco, ( calma la picazón ) la menta tiene un efecto refrescante, áloe vera, o eucalipto. El mosquito tigre es originario del sudeste asiático. En los últimos 30 años a invadido muchos países incluyendo regiones de América y el Mediterráneo.
Mas de 600 millones de personas contraen enfermedades transmitidas por mosquitos lo que ocasiona mas de un millón de muertes al año.

My wife was once bitten by one of these mosquitoes, which caused the disease called chikunguya, causing a severe headache, joint pain, a skin rash, and a high fever. To alleviate this illness, the doctor recommended isolation, rest a lot, drink plenty of fluids (juices and hot soups), and take acetaminophen every 8 hours.
After several days he woke up with a lot of pain in his joints, which lasted for several months.
To avoid the increase of the mosquito it is necessary to remove the accumulated water in small containers, clean the weeds in humid places, not throw garbage in areas of vegetation that are the possible breeding sites of the mosquito, we must be aware of these small predators. A mi esposa en una ocasión la picó uno de estos mosquitos, lo que le provocó la enfermedad llamada chikunguya, causandole fuerte dolor de cabeza, dolor en las articulaciones, erupción en la piel, y mucha fiebre. Para aliviar esta enfermedad le fue recomendado por el médico aislamiento, guardar mucho reposo,e ingerir bastante líquidos ( jugos y sopas calientes), y tomar acetaminofen cada 8 horas.
Después de varios dias se levanto con mucho dolor en las articulaciones, el cual le duró los dolores varios meses.
Para evitar el aumento del mosquito es necesario retirar el agua acumulada en recipientes pequeños, limpiar la maleza en lugares humedos, no echar basura en zonas de vegetación que son los posibles criaderos del mosquito, debemos estar alertas de éstos pequeños depredadores. Gracias por leer.
