Something that surprised me while investigating, was the fact that we usually confuse these insects, since they are very similar. The Devil's Horse and the Dragonfly.

Devil's horses or damsels, as they are popularly known, belong to the suborder of Zygoptera, while dragonflies belong to the suborder of Epiproctas. Both belong to the order of the Odonata.

They have several differences, but the most visible is when they are in a state of rest, since the dragonflies shown in the images place their wings in a horizontal position and lean a little forward.

When they are at rest, the little horses of the devil join their wings by folding them to their abdomen.

They are very variable in their coloring.

Hoy les traigo imágenes que llenan de vida, nos muestra el colorido Magestuoso de un Insecto que es un controlador biológico por excelencia.

Algo que al investigar me sorprendió, fue el hecho de que por lo general confundimos estos insectos, puesto que son muy parecidos. El caballito del diablo y la libélula.

El caballito del diablo o damiselas conocidas popularmente, pertenecen al suborden de las Zygopteras, mientras que las libélulas pertenecen al suborden de las Epiproctas. Ambas al orden de la Odonata.

Tienen varias diferencias, pero la más visible es cuando están en estado de reposo, puesto que las libélulas mostradas en las imágenes colocan sus alas en posición horizontal e inclinadas un poco hacia delante.

Los caballitos del diablo cuando están en reposo juntan sus alas plegandolas a su abdomen.

Son muy variables en su colorido.
