Hello everyone, very interesting insect companion. this is the second time I post on the community interesting insect.
Sometimes to fill my daily activities I like to surround the plants in my home environment and this afternoon, when I was sitting in the front yard of my house I saw a small fly around the flowers and I tried to take some pictures of the flies, all you can see a picture of these flies here.
I was looking for additional knowledge to find out more about flies, it turns out...Flies are a type of insect from the order Diptera (derived from the Greek word means two and ptera means wings). The most obvious difference between flies and other insect orders is that flies have a pair of flying wings and a pair of dumbbells, originating from the hind wings, in the metatorax (except for a few flightless fly species). The only other insect order that has two actually functioning wings and has a dumbbell is the Strepsiptera. However, unlike flies, Strepsitera dumbbells are in the mesothorax and wings in the metatorax.source
From this little insect I conclude that, every little insect that has their wings is an insect of the order Diptera, this is all I can say, hope you can enjoy it.
