Hoy les estaré hablando de este pequeño y ágil insecto volador la mantis Religiosa, mejor conocida aquí en el llano como cerbatana.
Today I will be talking about this small and agile flying insect the Praying mantis, better known here in the plain as a blowpipe.
Es un animal de color verde y con forma alargada, posee dos antenitas, se puede camuflar fácilmente entre las hojas verdes de las plantas así cuidándose de sus depredadores.
It is an animal of green color and with an elongated shape, it has two antennae, it can be easily camouflaged between the green leaves of the plants, thus taking care of its predators.
Son muy rápidos a la hora de cazar a sus presas como hormigas grillos, polillas ya que en sus patas delanteras tienen varias espinas que sostienen a su víctima.
