Queensland Fruit Fly
This insect with a variant color of brown & yellow is called Queensland Fruit Fly. They got their name itself because they are the largest pest in a different types of fruits and vegetables. The Queensland fruit fly is really originated from Queensland and South Wales, but why are they migrated in Asia? This fly also looks like a bee maybe because of its color. When you look at them the body of the Queensland fruit fly is just like the body of a housefly, but they have many differences.
The differences of the Queensland fruit fly between the ordinary housefly are.
- The wings of the fruit fly are always wide open
- The mouth of the Queensland fruit fly was a little bit longer so they can suck more.
- The Queensland fruit fly has also less hair than the ordinary housefly.
- The Queensland fruit fly was a little slower than the housefly.
Every morning I always saw them in the garbage can maybe they were attracted to the smell of the garbage can. I also saw them everywhere I saw them in the laundry basket, in plastic garbage, and everywhere on the rooftop. One thing that I noticed about the Queensland fruit fly they are gone when the sun comes up.
I made a photo collage of the Queensland fruit fly to frame them in a photo and look at them easily.
