The scientific name of drone fly is Eristalis tenax. It is the wings species. It belong to Syrphidae family. The order name of this species is Diptera. Its size is larger than other Hover fly. It can found in the garden and agriculture places. It looks like bumble bee and honey. I have posted the details, identification and pictures of the hover fly, bumble bee and honey fly, you can easily differentiate between them. Their eyes are black and their wings size is about 9mm to 13mm. Female drone fly lays white color eggs.
