The Sixers are not looking good in these Eastern Conference Semifinals unfortunately. They lose a third consecutive mostly well played game, but the Knicks just seemed to be a notch better. Jalen Brunson was just hitting big shot after big shot on the Sixers, never really letting them get close enough to gain any real momentum for long. Even Mikal Bridges was hitting some clutch shots.
Kelly Oubre Jr. of all players, led the Sixers in scoring with 22. Not another Sixer reached 20 points. Pretty wild stat.
While Game 3 was similar to Game 2, it was a mild regression in play for the Sixers even with Joel Embiid back. Sheesh, maybe Embiid should have taken off Game 1.
Being down 3-0 is bad enough, but when the Sixers just pulled off the rare 3-1 comeback the series prior, my faith in them to pull off a more impressive miracle consecutively is a bit low. It would of course be incredible though, ya never know! The Knicks just won three straight, maybe the Sixers can too. Then Game 7 would be crazy. This is all easier said then done obviously.
It would be nice to just start with not getting swept at home in Philadelphia. Come on Sixers, go get one!
It's been a hell of a season.
