Since entering the league with the Texans in 2013 DeAndre Hopkins has done nothing make jaw dropping catches, put up numbers, and collect awards.
Many people wonder whether or not Hopkins is still as elite as he was in his slightly younger years due to the fact that he has only played in 19 games over the past two seasons due to a mix of injury, and a suspension.
Well, when Hopkins was on the field the past two years, he almost always looked to be himself.
Also, he's only 31 which is not all that old. To really claim he's getting way too old seems a bit foolish.
DeAndre Hopkins has been in the league for ten seasons. He's played and started in 145 games. Here's some of what he's accomplished in that span:
- 11,298 Receiving Yards - 36th All-Time
- 853 Receptions - 28th All-Time
- 71 Touchdown Receptions
- 3x First-Team All-Pro
- 2x Second-Team All-Pro
- 5x Pro Bowls
I don't think a player like that, at just 31 years old, is just washed up. I think Hopkins has a couple elite years left in him.
Now, entering 2023, Hopkins has officially become a Tennessee Titan. The Titans have had a winning culture for much of the past decade and they have a great head coach. Hopkins made an excellent choice, but I am totally unbiased LOL.
But for real, if the Titans main pieces stay healthy, some other players bloom and the defense stays strong like it normally is, the Titans and Hopkins might be up to something!!
