That blasted FA Cup got in the way of good old Last Man Standing last weekend so we have to wait another 5 days for the games to commence this week. I don't care though as I got to see Ryan Reynolds have the time of his life watching the Welsh team that he owns have a 3 goal thriller at Sheffield United. What a dreamboat.
Selections came in thick and fast after round 2 and below are the selections so far. Brighton and Arsenal seem to be hot teams this weekend as they take on Bournemouth and Everton That's provided Brighton can field a team as it looks like all the top clubs are dipping into the Brighton player pool in this window. Whoever is in charge of their player recruitment deserves an Oscar, they just keep producing some quality players.
So 4 have selected Brighton and 5 Arsenal. Can't really fault the choices really as I would be selecting these myself. 2 have gone for Man United versus Palace with the EPL cup well out of these contestants heads at this stage.
I am still waiting on selections from 8 of you and interested to see who talesfrmthecrypt selects this week. Bloody Wolves or Fulham I imagine or maybe even Leeds because he can't select Southampton or the irons this week.
The champ is still studying form,
's selections have been as shrewd as tales so interested to see who he picks as well.
So it is all to play for in Last Man Standing. 15 eliminated after 2 rounds. 20 galiant warriors are still standing. I have a feeling this will be a pivotal week. The contestants that selected Arsenal may have to come up against Sean Dyke's Everton this week and Bournemouth are not as bad as you think but then again there is no easy game in the Premier League.
Selections this week have to be in before Friday at 8pm as that is when the next round kicks off. Best of luck to those remaining.
I'm off to watch Man City steal Porro on Spurs.
