La actualidad de la selección nipona es toda locura, acaban de cerrar posiblemente su mejor fecha FIFA de amistosos con par de victorias contra Escocia y la todopoderosa Inglaterra, y más allá de ser meramente anecdótico o que la suerte haya influido en demasia, lo cierto es que refleja muy bien su situación actual. Ya meses atrás, consiguieron una victoria, con remontada incluida, frente a Brasil, y yéndonos un poco más atrás, podemos conseguir resultados similares contra Alemania, Canadá o Turquía.
