I just learned about a man with quite possibly the best name for a QB ever, Sonny Sixkiller, who played for the Washington Huskies. In 1971 he led the nation in completions per game (18.6) and was #1 in the Pac-8 in touchdowns.
As a sophomore he finished 9th in a Heisman class that saw Jim Plunkett, Brian Sipe, Pat Sullivan, Joe Theisman and Dan Fouts place ahead of him.
In high school (Ashland, Oregon) he was All State in football, All Conference in basketball and baseball.
He was also in the Burt Reynolds movie The Longest Yard.
