The German Bundesliga will be the first sport back starting from next weekend and depending on how it goes others will be paying close attention. Obviously all games will be behind closed doors and the aim has just to be to complete the season as quickly as possible without any interruptions.

The Germans are going for slow and steady to start as there is one game in the first week they are back followed by games on Saturdays and Tuesdays finishing the season in less than 5 weeks .
Many other countries have already cancelled their seasons which is a little crazy if you ask me. When you only have a quarter of the seasons games to go what is the point of cancelling it. The only reason I see is that certain teams are benefiting like Ajax in Holland. It is no wonder they graciously handed some much needed funds to other clubs as it guarantees them Champions League next season earning them much more than they handed out. I am just seeing it for what it really is and find it sickening.

Cardboard fans for only $20.
The Bundesliga has 9 games to play with the most anticipated game of the season happening on the weekend of the 23/24 when Dortmund play Bayern. There are only 4 points difference between them and this is like a 6 point swing whoever wins this one. RB Leipzig are not out of the running either as they are sitting in third just 5 points off top spot. None of the top 3 can afford slip ups now and the title is wide open. Just finish the season quickly before any other lock downs happen as anything is still possible.

One ingenious fan has come up with a money making scheme to help local businesses and fans who need financial assistance. You can have a cardboard curt out of yourself at the remaining home matches for only $20. The money is shared between a local printing company and profits are then sent on to whoever might need assistance. So far they have sold 10 000 cut outs which is just over $200 000 and shows you what people will do to help others. Who would of thought that this was even going to be a thing in January?
