Lamela should have been carded for his reaction as it was a love tap. This was not anger as this was a set up and Martial was too stupid and fell into the trap. Play acting has no place in sport and examples need to be made. Other sports like rugby which you don't have play acting has an automatic red card for a punch only if it lands, a slap just doesn't happen which this wasn't and was a love tap. I do believe Martial sending off would not have changed the result as Man Utd this year are in trouble having no quality or very little. Expect to see them finish outside the top 10 this season as last year they over achieved and haven't exactly bought anyone decent in the transfer window.
