Bales professional career journey began at Southampton, he played at left-back and was known as a free kick specialist. in 2007, Bale moved to Tottenham Hotspur, for a £7 million fee. while staying at Tottenham, he did outstandingly well, and as well his brilliant performance transform him into a more attacking player. Between 2009– 2010 season, during Harry Redknapp time, Bale became an active part of the team, He arose the international attention during the 2010–11 UEFA Champions League.
In 2011 and 2013 he was named PFA Players' Player of the Year, and was named in the UEFA Team of the Year. In 2013, he was also named PFA Young Player of the Year, the FWA Footballer of the Year and the Premier League Player of the Season. He was nominated to the PFA Team of the Year three times in a row between 2011 and 2013.

In 2016 January , the transfer document leaked and in it, the then-world record transfer fee of €100.8 million was confirmed which exceeded the previous record fee of £80 million (€94 million). Bale did a good job in his first season at Real Madrid, he helped the club to win the 2013–14 Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League, which he scored in both finals. The next season, he lifted the UEFA Super Cup and of cause scored in a third major final thereby helping the club win the FIFA Club World Cup.
Two years down the line, he was a key player in another Champions League run, he won the 2015–16 title and was elected to the UEFA Squad of the Season. He was a finalist in the UEFA Men's Player of the Year Award, and he received a name as the man of the match, scoring with an overhead kick in the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final.

He attended his senior international debut for Wales in May 2006, becoming the youngest player at that point to represent Wales.
