The team beat Inter Milan 1-0 in a thrilling match in Istanbul. One of the Premier League's most consistent clubs has never won Europe's highest trophy before. They filled that regret now!
Inter Milan's place in this year's Champions League final was unexpected. On the other hand, Manchester City's place in the Champions League final was much expected by the fans. At the beginning of this season, Paris St. Germain, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City were considered as favorites. Because they are currently the strongest team in the world in terms of performance and team quality.
But at the end of the list of favorites, City made it, but the rest of the teams failed. Also, as a surprise, Inter Milan made it to the Champions League final with City. But they have performed well throughout the season. Every player in the team tried his best till the final. But their luck didn't help!
Yesterday's match was held at Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. Manchester City, who have already won two titles this season, were considered hot favorites for the final. However, Inter Miller performed better than City in the final stage.
