Played at Istanbul's Atatürk Olympic Stadium, of course a stadium completely full, fans of both clubs had it full to the brim. Once the game started I think it was just nerves for the fans, because quality was mostly absent from the game, City looked nervous and Inter were more worried about defending than lookingfor a goal. The first half just saw three shots at goal, and of this only the Haalend atempt had any real danger
City looked lost in this first half, also it is very difficult to open up a team set on defenidng themselves with a lot of order. Personally I like attacking football, but I can understand Inzaghi taking precautions. Manchestry had more ball possession but with littl to know chance. In fact I think substituting De Bruyne (who is City's top player) with Foden helped City. De Bruyne went out with an injury and Foden was much more fixated ona ttacking. Silva really got into the game and that is how Rodrigo was able to hit a loose ball with a volley.
As always Inter seemed to awaken after this goal and had two chances, one cleared by Lukaku after his teammate headed the ball and it him, and the other one was header by Lukaku which Ederson saved incredibly, I can bet Ederson didn't even see the ball, it just hit him.
Nevertheless City managed to not concede a goal, and that was that, they won 1-0 and are the new UEFA Champions League Champions. I think City played better than Inter and was more offensive, but still they hardly looked like themselves during most of the game.
