Hi, dear Hivers
I'm back after another long absence.
This time, I want to share with you some pictures from an exciting and different night we had at the dojo I used to attend.
As you know, I started practicing Ju-Jitsu some time ago, but I have not had the chance to compete yet. I could have competed here, but I had been absent for a while taking care of some of my academic affairs and I was not ready.
I decided to attend anyways, for obvious reasons. I had to support my teammates and also I invited my boyfriend who was not feeling well. I'd like to think that that night changed his mood for the better.
That's me in the back 😂
This was the first time for me attending a live event like this. I was cheering like crazy.
You can see me crazy here
Here is the girl responsible for organizing the event under the K-1 umbrella (karate, kickboxing and kung fu). Adriany de Paula is a member of our dojo and a kickboxing athlete and trainer. She has created her own brand and provides equipment for athletes. She is really an amazing woman and I admire her.
They did a great job organizing the event and providing accomodations for a hundred people. There were very young fighters like this girl who did a great job. Most of our atheltes won that night, which was amazing. It is a great experience to be part of sports events, especially if you are the one making others cheer. That night I was just cheering for them and I did it with all my heart.
I hope to be able to compete next time. I will share that with you, of course.
