Much I have heard that people who are engaged in sports activities such as boxing, karate, or any other martial art should know how to treat, because they can be violent, however, and I know, I think it is a belief far from reality, because I particularly believe the opposite, of course, as in everything is not right to generalize, because we can fall into a serious error.
There is an undeniable reality, and it is the fact that they know how to defend themselves, for that they prepare themselves, to learn to defend themselves and of course to attack, they enjoy good physical and mental health (the great majority), besides a great strength and skills that can put them in terms of combat far above any usual opponent, more if this one does not have any type of preparation.
But, in contrast to what many might think, these athletes must receive mental preparation to grow in this aspect, it is not only about the physical, but to know that the preparation in combat techniques, regardless of the martial art to which they are dedicated, puts them at an advantage, and this should not be used to do damage just for pleasure.
At this point I want to make a parenthesis, one can not hide the fact that many enter the practice of a combat sport with the purpose of acquiring skills just to test them at the slightest moment, even propitiate fights to demonstrate their advantage, and this if I see it very ma. But unfortunately these beings that are in charge of creating chaos in some localities by their bad actions are those who make see that the fighters of any discipline only go to that in every moment, to take advantage and not to compete healthily.
Having finished the previous point, I think in the opposite way to many, I have been able to meet Boxers and Karate fighters in whom emotional control is undoubtedly one of their strengths and do not bend to virtually any call to street fight, much less go to the street to look for them, they are rather peaceful people, who understand that the best fight is the one that is avoided.
