You wouldn't expect this from Swedish soccer fans, would you?
For a player like Ibrahimovic haven represented Sweden in international levels and being the country's all time highest goal scorer with 62 goals in 116 games, I will like to think those achievements should count against vandalizing a statue of him.
The vandalism though have been as a result of Zlatan's confirmation to become a part owner of Hammarby a rival club to Malmo.
Zlatan began his career with Malmo in 1996, where he netted 16 goals in 40 games before a move to Ajax in 2001.
It is expected of fans to be disappointed over Zlatan's intention to be a co-owner of a rivalry club but having to vandalize a statue of him is absolutely uncalled for.
