Two weeks ago I got excited about the FA Cup semi finals and I went on to put up a post Which FA Cup final would you like to see? In that post I wished for a London derby final.
Yesterday saw a London side booked its place in the FA Cup final as the gunners pulled up a 2-0 stunner against City. I am sure when it comes to cup games anything can happen the victory can go either way as teams normally show up with their best. It was Arsenal's best last night that got them a spot in the Final.
Who will be joining the Gunners in the Final? There is only on way to find out and isn't it? As we approach kick off at Wembley the performances of both teams are worth looking at.
Both Chelsea have won their last game in the league. The current season have seen Manchester United beaten Chelsea three times, therefore recent results against Manchester Utd is not looking good for Chelsea tonight presents an opportunity to redeem themselves of such bad results.
On the FA Cup side Chelsea have won 12 out of their last 15 FA Cup Semi finals while Manchester United have won 15 out their last 17 semi final appearances. Both teams boasts of good record, a reflection of how the FA Cup is important to them.
A good Stats in Chelsea's favor is the Blues have only lost 1 out 5 in their last FA Cup encounters against Manchester United.
Manchester United on the other hand will be playing in the 30th FA Cup semi final tonight, a record which no team have ever attained.
Stats are there to see how the teams compare and how they edged each other out in the past. Does it really impact future games? I don't think so. So it the lads all to themselves with very impressive young managers both teams possess that will be fighting it out on the pitch tonight.
Call it Manchester United vs Chelsea, I call a blockbuster tie FA Cup semi final tie.
Enjoy the games folks and as a True Blue I wish Chelsea makes it to the final.
We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great
