You know what's coming, right?
We saw the very best game of two halves this evening at Ibrox Stadium. Oh, my world! This is the thrill that comes from watching UCL.
The first half was all about Rangers pressing Liverpool's neck with no mercy. They got their goal very early into the game and controlled the first half with pleasure. Even when Liverpool got an equalizer in the 24th minute of the first half, Rangers were still running the show in the last 20+ minutes of that half.
But, the second half was an entirely different story for Rangers. They fell for the trap of Liverpool and got torn to shreds by a Liverpool team that looked hungry for a win.
What a game that was.
I'm genuinely excited about the performance of the lads and it was a pleasure to see Rangers fans going back home at the 75th minute of the game. They couldn't take it anymore. Haha.
You know, we saw many games in the UCL tonight and it will be a joy to talk about them, but let me have my moment. Haha. This night will just be about me and my darling Liverpool. It's been so long since I felt so Happy watching these lads do their thing.
By the way, what on earth did Klopp say to the lads during the halftime break?
I've seen a lot of dressing room leaks that show the half-time team talk that Managers hold with players. I want to know what Klopp said because it completely changed the trajectory of how this game was seen in the first 45 minutes of the game.
Immediately after the second half kicked off, Liverpool started to ask important questions and it took only 10 minutes for Bobby Firmino to score that beauty. The assist came from Gomez. You've gotta love the mentality monsters at their best 😋.
Look at that. Haha.
Bobby has been carrying us for most of this season. The lad has scored very important goals for us and it's funny how most of the fans wanted him to be sold before the beginning of the season. Now, the rejected stone has become the pillar that saves our ass time and time again.
Bobby got the player of the match award
Nunez scored a well-deserved goal.
Jota got a hat-trick of assists.
Salah scored the fastest hat-trick in the history of UCL.
Elliot got his first-ever UCL goal.
What a beauty!
My excitement knows no bounds at the moment, but all eyes are already on what comes next for us. I'm sure Manchester City will be ready to drag us through the mud in the game that will be played this weekend.
What do y'all expect from that game?
