A novelty match between principal’s of secondary school and the staff of Area Office was played today as well as match between public schools students and private schools were played today at central primary school Akwanga.
The match was organized to foster relationships between the two parties and also to select a team that would represent the Akwanga local Government Area Office in the forthcoming sport festival coming up soon.
The first match was played at 8:00 AM and lawyer for just 40 minutes with each half played for 20 minutes. It ended 1:1 between principals of schools and Area Office staff after the final whistle.
On the other hand public schools students defeated the private schools by 3:1.
The match was attended by hundreds of students from various schools within the town with staff and others spectators who stand by to watch.
At the end it was a win for both teams who participated as they were given a trophy 🏆 each for participating signifying no winner, no loser.
After all it was not a competition but a way of screening players who will represent the Local Government I. Tas a team in football.
