Last night we witness a thrilling match in the quarter-finals of euro 2020 between Ukraine and England in Stadio Olimpico. There are so many talking points in this match. Is it the goal fest? Or the brace scored by Captain Harry Kane? Or the exemplary and outstanding performance by Luke Shaw of Manchester united who by extension provided two assists? Or Jordan Henderson who scored his first England goal ever on his 62nd cap?
The Three Lions of England started the match with so much focus that they netted their first goal in the 4th minute when Raheem Sterling provided a sublime assist to Harry Kane to net pass Buschan from close range.

Luke Shaw who was out of favour under Jose Mourinho in Manchester United was exceptional as he provided England second and third goals with excellent passes from the left flank. Shaw does not often go into the final third but once he does he make sure it counts. Right now I can't think of any left-back that is contending with him as the world best that position. He was on point to provide an assist for Maguire's header in the 46th minute from his free kick and also a pinpoint cross for Harry Kane's second goal of the day.
Harry Kane seems to be out of his shell in yesterday's Quarter Finals against Ukraine as he has not been having a great performance in the previous matches in the competition. He picked up where he concluded in the round of 16 against Germany after heading home Jack Grealish cross in the 86th minute.

Ukraine might have dashed out of the Euro 2020 due to their poor defending and allowing England to score a second goal. In football, goals change games and that second have changed the narrative of the game for Shevchenko's men.
The three lions will take up their Denmark in the semi-final at Wembley on Wednesday where the winner of the tie will play against Italy or Spain in the final of the competition.
