First matchday is on the book where all teams managed to get a W. Manchester City did not get one due to Tottenham wanted it more. As you know Kane did not play since he wants to play for City, little awkward to say the least. This could be the best 3 points for Tottenham this season. Both teams play wonderful Football and the fans were amazed.
I hope I am right Football fans are the craziest ever. The chants and constant buzzy noise is something out of this world. During playoff, NBA fans are crazy too in some cities. As a fan, VAR is something you dislike for many reasons. Stop the game to check for a goal is a problem for me. Either cannot stand how VAR is messing up the game. For this season Offsides is changing a little bit to give the benefit of the doubt to the striker. So happy they are moving away with this headache rule and allow the referee to make a decision and move away with the crazy line.
The sideline referee will not raise the flag unless the offside is blatant. YEAH! more goals and now the defense will be in trouble. No way to trick the strikers cause they are coming for you. Last season 20 goals were reversed due to the little tiny eyelash that was offside.EPL will follow the same rule from Champions League to keep the game fluid.
Handball was another one where it is coming back to what it should be from the beginning. If the opponent kicks the ball to the other player, it maybe a fault and to some level a penalty if the player tries to play the ball with his arm. If a player tries to play the ball with his arm and score, that will be rejected. If a player touches the ball by accident but another player score a goal, it is valid. I think the game of Brentford vs Arsenal, we had a case like that and the game continues and a goal were scored.
Players going down just by a simple touch will not be an automatic penalty. Do you remember Sterling doing this in the Final of Champions League? Going down has to do with the other player doing everything to stop you from scoring a goal. Again the referee has to keep a tab and follow the game completely to award such penalty. The flow of the game should remain clear and a team needs to win free and clear, not to look for penalty to cheat the game.
First matchday, 10 winners to start the table. If your team is not there, do not worry things can change quick in a couple weeks. As a Chelsea fan, I am waiting to see Lukaku, Pulisic, kai, Werner,etc... scoring goals. I know Manchester United like to finish the season strong. For the past couple years Leicester had been on top. Top four is not enough for Chelsea.

By the way Tammy Abraham is at Roma. He wants to play so bad, so that was a good call for him to go there. He was surprised to see Roma fans appreciate him so much.
