In other efforts to put fully operational one of the cars at home, I noticed that one of the tail lights, or as we call it in my country: stop, had an accumulation of water at the bottom, because it was about six months parked without being used, this detail I never noticed, I didn't have it under roof only covered by a tarp so that the paint doesn't get toasted but the tail lights were not covered.

En otros esfuerzos por poner completamente operativo uno de los carros en casa, note que una de las luces traseras, o como le llamamos en mi pais: stop, tenía una acumulación de agua en la parte inferior, debido a que estuvo cerca de seis meses estacionado sin ser utilizado, este detalle nunca lo noté, no lo tuve bajo techo solo cubierto por una lona para que la pintura no se tostara pero los stops no quedaron cubiertos.
I urgently needed to resolve this as water is accumulating in the back-up light section and on this model of vehicle there is only one, what surprises me is that it has not shorted out and blown the fuse, which makes me suspect that the water is draining from above, because some of the water looks condensed in the upper section.
Con urgencia debía resolver esto ya que el agua se está acumulando en la sección de la luz de retroceso y en este modelo de vehículo solo hay una, lo que me sorprende es que no ha hecho corto circuito y se quemara el fusible, lo que me hace sospechar que el agua se escurre desde arriba, porque parte del agua se ve condensada en la sección superior.
Removing it I thought it would be more complicated but the truth is that it is very simple, only two screws hold it, and only remains to remove the cable connected to separate it from the body.

Removing the accumulated water was easy, I thought it would be more complicated, but it came out by itself through a rear hole, however, to dry it better I thought to remove the bulb and drain the water through that hole, and then let it dry.
Retirarle el agua acumulada fue sencillo, pense que seria mas complicado, pero se salía sola por un orificio posterior, sin embargo, para secarlo mejor se me ocurrió retirar el bombillo y drenar el agua a través de ese orificio, para luego dejarlo secar.
To access the set of bulbs you have to remove an entire piece where the circuit is, the screws are star type and fortunately I have a set of this type that are used with dice and rache, so I could remove it without problem.
Para acceder a el conjunto de bombillos hay que retirar una pieza entera donde esta el circuito, los tornillos son de tipo estrella y por fortuna tengo un juego de este tipo que se usan con dados y rache, así que pude quitarlo sin problema.
Once I removed the section you can see that the circuit at the bottom was oxidized, so with sandpaper and solvents I started to remove it so that it would not deteriorate any more.
Una vez retiré la sección puede constatar que el circuito en la parte inferior estaba oxidado, así que con lija y solventes empecé a retirarlo para que no se deteriorara mas.
Once clean I put all the bulbs back and started to test them to see if they worked properly, I think these are one of the lights that we evaluate less, being drivers we may overlook it sometimes, fortunately they all worked well.

The next thing is to solve the possible water ingress, although I am not sure if it is in this section where it enters, it was the only one where I could notice that the silicone that seals was not quite right, so I put transparent silicone to seal the possible water ingress.
Lo siguiente es solucionar la posible entrada de agua, aunque no estoy seguro si es en esta sección por donde ingresa, fue la única en la que pude notar que el silicon que sella no estaba del todo bien, así que le coloque silicon transparente para sellar la posible entrada de agua.
I would have liked to put industrial silicone to seal it but I think this will do the job for now and so I will see if indeed no more water enters or accumulates, because another solution is to completely separate both parts of the taillight and place new sealant, if not solved with this I did.
Me hubiera gustado colocarle del silicon industrial para sellarlo pero creo que este hará el trabajo por ahora y asi vere si efectivamente no ingresa mas agua ni se acumula, porque otra soluciones es separar por completo ambas partes de la luz trasera y colocar sellador nuevo, de no solucionarse con esto que hice.
